She was a brilliant host - giving us a tour of the property including the history - and helped me with ideas for an itinerary for our trip.We had 19 adults and 1 baby stay - the chateau was even better than pictured - incredibly beautiful, all the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the facilities were great for hosting such a large party (kitchen utensils, pool towels, bbq etc.). We found the areas of Bordeaux and Blaye convenient, friendly, historic and full of Old World Charm, while escaping the chaos of Paris. The property is well appointed, in excellent repair and offered many outdoor activities perfect for families.
